PROGRAMS
AND SERVICES
BE SAFE
SYRINGE PROGRAM
Our Be Safe Syringe Service Program is a comprehensive, community-driven initiative focused on safety, health, and connection to care. We provide access to sterile supplies, safe sharps disposal, and practical, easy-to-understand education—while connecting individuals to treatment, recovery support, and other essential services.
REENTRY
SERVICES
We support individuals returning from incarceration by providing access/linkage to resources, guidance, and opportunities that promote stability, and long-term success.
PREVENTION, SCREENING & LINKAGE TO CARE
CARPBR provides accessible prevention services, routine screenings, and direct connections to care for HIV, Hepatitis C, and Syphilis. We make it easy to know your status, understand your options, and take the next step.
PROJECT H.U.G.S.
Project H.U.G.S. (Houseless/Unhoused Gaining Support) is about showing up for people—meeting immediate needs while building real connections for individuals experiencing houselessness.
OUT OF THE BOX LGBTQ+ INITIATIVE
Out of the Box (OTB) is a space built for community, connection, and growth. It’s where we come together to have real conversations, build relationships, and focus on our holistic health and wellness.
From workshops to retreats, OTB creates opportunities to learn, heal, and grow—while being fully seen, supported, and celebrated.
RESEARCH
PROJECTS
At CARPBR, research starts with the community. We partner on projects that help us better understand what people need and how to serve them better.
Our work is rooted in real experiences, real voices, and real impact—making sure research is not just about data, but about improving lives, strengthening services, and creating better outcomes for the communities we serve.
